Are People Really This Stupid?

I thought I better get blogging again so here goes with a right corker.

For those who don’t know, I recently started my new job at PC World. I am basically working on becoming a sales assistant. But at the moment I’m just a customer advisor, which means I can’t sell items over £300/£400 ($600/$800). So at the moment I’m just put in different areas of the store to learn what you have to do and stuff.

So I was in the customer service centre for most of the day and, with it being a computer superstore, you get some complete Idiots. This blonde comes in asking for a driver for a Wi-Fi adapter. I ask if she has any model number or anything, and she pulls out this disk. Now upon further inspection I noticed that it had been taped up, as someone had obviously split the disk in half. So that’s £20-£30 ($40 - $60) down the drain for her (y)

Just got another 5 hour shift tomorrow and then I got a 3 day break w00t!

Strange Habbits

Fun fun fun… yeah right!

Well after waking up at 7AM i found myself doing basically nothing in college for 3 hours. We had website development for two hours with a tutor who doesn’t know how to use the main web development application on all the machines (Addobe Dreamweaver). So me and my mate have had to resort to code searching on Google. Because he has dabbled in HTML before hes usually the one writing the code, I just design

The thing that annoys me about HTML is the way that everything has to be done to complete the simplest of tasks. Now i know if it was any simpler then it is you wouldn’t be able to do anything with it. BUT I’m sure they didn’t have to put it in a way that you have to totally rewrite any generated code just to write on a page. So after spending an hour figuring out what to do I did get it going but I just don’t want to do it. So i just play Counter Strike 1.6, or watch my mate on World Of Warcraft.

I dont know if anyone else does this, but I dont like to spend money when I know there is some coming in. Now this might be wierd to some people but if I know I have EMA coming in on the thursday, I wont buy anything on the wednesday. Its the same with moving furniture.  If my mum wants to rearange my bedroom, she has to do it herself because i get stressed about it… my maybe I just hate change. Who will come out champions?

Wigan V United / Scum V Bolton - The deciders of the season… for the title that is. The first time in quite a while everyone says. But do we really care? More money for sky, more money for the the four teams involved and more people naming themselves 07RonAldO07UnITeD08 on Youtube, posting “we love you Ronaldo, shove your schlong in my bum-hole, because i made a video showing off all your epic moves”! Ok he’s good, but the way it keeps going there is going to be a “Ronaldo Skills” category.

The gang working on Gears Of War 2 have posted a nice little game-play showoff on marketplace and obviously on the web. If you played GOW1 you will notice the difference straight away. No more claustrophobic “chapters” with you in buildings ALL THE FRIKING TIME! Now you will be able to see hundreds of locusts rushing at you instead of the odd 30 dotted about, with no frame loss, which is always good Got to be a must buy

GRID, the new driver from the Codemasters gang. Very nice, i have to say, but this is something, if you have a G25, you need for the PC. if not then this game works well with a joy-pad so serious driving game players, G25 on the PC. The people who dabble and not got the gear, Console is the path you need to take obi wan
